My Personal Review of a Brazilian

Welp, I can mark another adventure off my list.  

I’ll now be drinking during Never Have I Ever when someone says “I’ve never had my vagina and butthole waxed”

I booked Sarah almost immediately after booking my boudoir session.  I had never done a Brazilian before, and honestly – never even considered it.  But booking a boudoir session was all about stepping out of my comfort zone.  So while not add to the list and do this, too?!

I’m not entirely sure how I came across Sarah’s Instagram, but I was intrigued when I saw a post from her with a ball of wax and all the hair stuck to it.

Then began the deep dive into her IG.  I got lost.  Her posts made me belly laugh.  (My favorite post was this one!!  I remember laying in bed with tears in my eyes while Josh was questioning why he married me!!!)  I knew I would regret it if I didn’t at least reach out.

One phone call with Sarah on a random Friday evening was all it took to say YES!  Honestly, she had me sold when she explained that I could go 4-6 weeks between appointments and would have minimum hair growth.

(I am currently three weeks POST my first appointment.  I am still smooth and have very little regrowth right now!!!  At two weeks post-wax, I was still smooth.  I’m talking baby-butt smoooootttthhhhh!!!)

The challenge with a Brazilian is that you have to go at least two weeks without shaving.  I stretched that out to a little over five!!!  (Watch my hilarious and viral IG Reel here about my “Beaver”)

Sarah gave me all the tips and shared with me her favorite products for best results.  I bought it all (exfoliant, gloves, antibacterial soap, and witch hazel).  I followed all of her tips.  And I have my next appointment scheduled.  

Honestly – I don’t think I’ll ever go back to shaving my vagina again.  My only regret is that I didn’t start waxing much sooner in my life.  Sure would have made two pregnancies much easier!!
